In Reception, we had a visit from local author, Susan Whiteson.
Sue read her story, Hector the Hedgehog, to the children.
She used props to engage the children and talked about the need to look after our wildlife and habitats.
The children were amazed by Sue's illustrations and later created some of their own artwork.
Sue ended the session by donating a copy of her book to the children in Reception.
It stands proudly on the book shelf and is very popular with the children.
