Year 3 have green thumbs!

👑🍃🐸

A wonderful day celebrating King Charles III which started with planting. The children met John- a former employee of Buckingham Palace (Miss Khan's Grandad) and got to ask him some burning questions about his time at the palace. The children then planted their own geraniums as King Charles himself has a passion for gardening and safeguarding the environment! Then they learnt about a Ecuadorian frog -In honour of his work to protect the rainforests, King Charles has a frog named after him. It is called the Prince Charles stream tree frog. The children sketched the frog and they were beautiful!
