On Thursday Pankhurst and Rowling visited the Centre of the Cell at Queen Mary University of London. Students were treated to a Gut Feeling workshop, linking to their recent Science project.
We went on the weird and wonderful journey of one boy’s breakfast as it got chomped and chewed in the mouth, pushing through the oesophagus, churned in stomach acids, absorbed in the intestines and greeted by the toilet bowl!
The children really enjoyed our tube journey, and visiting the University campus.
