Let's grow!

This term we have been learning about growing and life cycles

We made butterflies, cocoons, eggs and caterpillars for our Life cycle of a butterfly display!

Well done to all our Nursery children!

Comparisons in Science- Year 2

Year 2 took advantage of the good weather this morning to examine and draw from the plants we have growing around the school site. We considered the moisture and light levels that indoor plants gain compared to outside plants to start our new enquiry- "How do seeds and bulbs change over time?"

Bye bye butterflies

We have been looking after caterpillars in Nursery.

They transformed into cocoons and finally butterflies!

We let them go today.
