We have been learning about Remembrance Day.
The children found out about how the poppy is a symbol of remembrance for those who gave their lives for their country.
The children practised their fine motor skills by carefully tracking patterns on a poppy.
They had fun creating finger print poppies.
Each children needed to count out how many petals they were printing.
The children then talked about what they had made and why.
One child remembered the lesson and went on to create a poppy using shapes
and also made a poppy at home to show the rest of the class.
