In Year 5, we have started Toms Midnight Garden in English.
So to start off the story we were all given an extract from Chapter 1 and asked to read it with different parts or words empathised.
The objective of this was so that we could start to see how when the same text is read in different ways, it can be perceived by the audience differently.
We performed them in front of the rest of the class before lunchtime :)
