The wheels on the bus go round and round

This term we are learning about different ways of travelling.

The children have learnt about buses, and have enjoyed using our new role play area.

The children have been learning about how travel has changed. 

They looked at what vehicles were like in the past and compared them to the present.

The classes have been reading The Train Ride.

We used 'Talk 4 Writing' to learn the story by heart and enjoyed performing it.

Knowing the story by heart has helped the children to understand how to write a sentence.

We have been creative and have been making some different forms of transport for our class displays.

We are looking forward to finding out more about travel.
