We had a fun Arts Week in Reception.
As part of our topic we are finding out about animals from Africa.
We learnt about an artist from Tanzania called Edward Tingatinga.
We looked at his artwork and used this to inspire the children.
The children made prints of animals.
First, they etched their design onto a sheet of polystyrene.

Then, they chose the colours to roll onto the sheet.
Finally, they printed their design onto paper. The artwork looks amazing.
