Year 2 tasted a range of pre-made salads last week, and carefully followed recipes to make them themselves today! Children talked about how to prepare food safely and used a range of equipment including knives, peelers and graters to make crunchy coleslaw and beetroot salad. Every single child tasted the results of their hard work, and most came back for seconds... and thirds!
