We love stories!

We have a great topic this term, as we are learning about some of our favourite stories.

We read 'The tiger who came to tea'.

We enjoyed taking part in the story in our role play area.

The children decided to write a shopping list to replace all the food and drink eaten by the tiger.

We talked about what the tiger ate and whether it was 'healthy' or 'unhealthy'.
The children created healthy meals for the tiger.

The children drew pictures of the tiger so that Sophie would remember him.

We also read the story 'Handa's Surprise'.

The children enjoyed creating paintings and drawings of the different fruit in Handa's basket.

During the story, the children had a chance to hold the different fruit.
They smelt it, felt it and even had the chance to taste it. All the fruit was delicious.

We are now looking forward to 'Whatever next!'
