As our first term in school comes to an end, we have been learning about different celebrations.
The children have learnt about Diwali and Hanukkah, both festivals of light. They have been learning songs to celebrate the festivals. Click on the links below to sing along with your child.
At the start of the Christmas season we had a visit from the Nativity Prop Box, where the children were introduced to the Christmas story through props.
In the classroom, the role play area was changed to Santa's Workshop. It has been full of elves, making and wrapping presents and writing to Santa.
The children have been very creative, using IT and clay to create some seasonal art.
We are so proud of the Reception children for their wonderful performance of the Nativity story.
The children have made a great start to the term, and deserve a much needed break.
