Cinderella
by Archie and Olivia, Year 1.
Once upon a time, there was a kind girl called Cinderella. She lived with her wicked Step Mum and her 2 ugly Step Sisters.
Then, one a day handsome Prince invited them all to a ball. They were all very excited, but the mean step sisters said that Cinderella could not go to the ball and she must stay at home and clean.
Whilst Cinderella was doing her chores, she saw a shimmering light. It was the Fairy God Mother. She waved her wand and turned Cinderella into a beautiful Princess. She warned Cinderella that she must return home by 12 O’clock as the spell will be broken.
Cinderella went to the ball and met the Prince. They danced the night away but at 12 O’Clock Cinderella ran away before the spell was broken. Whilst she was running she left one of her slippers.
The Prince searched all around the town to find the girl whose foot fit the glass slipper. Cinderella’s step sisters and wicked step mum also tried the slipper but it did not fit.
Finally, Cinderella had a turn to try on the slipper and it fit!
The Prince was so happy to find Cinderella, they got married and lived happily ever after!
