WORLD WAR TWO

We have been learning about defensive measures people used at home to protect themselves from possible bomb raids during WW2

There were 3 options available: Anderson shelters (built in the garden using corrugated iron and earth), Morrison shelters (cage-like contraptions that were handy if you didn't have a garden) OR a local underground shelter (often a tube underground station with hundreds of other people).

Our task was to draw and label an Anderson shelter. Some of us also drew the inside. We think they turned out really well!
