Nursery Phonics - Rhyming Words

 As part of our phonics, and to build a foundation of rhyme, children looked at some rhyming words.

We used our Rhyming Tubs to learn about words for different objects, that sound the same e.g. cat and hat.

In class, we have been reading Room on the Broom and after looking at the rhyming tubs, children were set a challenge by the witch. They worked together to match the rhyming word cards and we read the cards together.
