This week at John Bramston was money week.
The nursery children got involved in a discussion about money and looked at coins. They looked at the size of the coins, the colour of the coins and the shape of the coins.
Children took the opportunity to count coins,
And play shops.
The children matched coins...
...and sorted them too.
For a nice challenge to end the week, children had to feed the right coins to the piggy bank
The children enjoyed learning about money and had some interesting ideas about where money comes from and how adults earn money :)
