We have started our new term in Year 2 by beginning to read our new story Lila and the Secret of Rain. In the story, Lila and her family in a small village in Kenya are struggling to cope in the heat.
Lila decides to tell the sky sad stories to see if she can bring the rain. We took our sad stories outside to tell the sky this morning, and see if we could bring some rain (or even snow?)- keep checking the weather to see if it worked!
