Today in art, we continued our learning about sculptures.
We looked at the work of Eva Rothschild. She is an Irish sculptor who lives in London.
Rothschild mainly works in sculpture, making abstract works in materials including leather, paper, wood and metal. There are lots of lines, corners, and geometric shapes in her work.
Below is an example of her work.
We had a go at making our own sculptures, inspired by Eva Rothschild. We played around with the aspects of form, line, shape and space and used marshmallows and cocktail sticks to build our sculptures.
