Congratulations to the winner of our Right to be Safe Week competition, Alisah!
Many weeks ago, the children in KS2 were asked to use a template to make an information leaflet for new children to the school. Inside, the children were asked to share important information that new children need to know to help them stay safe at school.
This included:
- Which staff members make up the Safeguarding Team?
- How to stay safe online.
- Why is your right to privacy important?
- How we can stand up against bullying.
We run this activity every year at J.B. but, this year, we were blown away by the creativity and volume of entries so a HUGE well done to everyone who participated.
Due to the high standard as well as the sheer volume of entries, it took our Article 12 Ambassadors a very long time to select a winner. There were multiple rounds of judging in which the finalists were eventually selected.
A few special mentions to:
- Y6 Daria and Jasmine,
- Y5 Jessie, Ayaan and Simona, as well as
- Y4 Ayla and Ilaria G.
10 'Marvellous Me's are on their way to you!
Our runners up were:
- Adela from 5O and
- Tvesha from 6R
25 'Marvellous Me's are on their way to you!
