As part of our Art topic, Let's Scuplt, we have been learning about different sculptors and their style of work.
This week we learned about the artist Jill Townsley.
Jill Townsley is a British artist who makes large scale sculptures or installations.
She often uses lots and lots of the same small thing to make large pieces of art.
Lots of the things she uses in her artwork can be found at home, such as broom bristles and ping pong balls.
In 2008, she made a large art installation using plastic spoons and rubber bands.
We had a go at making our own sculptures using spoons and rubber bands too.
