Yesterday we held our annual school election to elect our newest pupil representatives, the Head Boy/Girl and Deputy Head Boy/Girl team.
Congratulations to Head Boy - David, Deputy - Hamzah, Head Girl - Tvesha, Deputy - Aimee.
Fresh from the election yesterday, their first job in the role was to pose for a picture with our special guest today, newly elected MP and Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Wes Streeting.
The children in attendance had the opportunity to share what they would like to achieve if they were Prime Minister for a day and to ask some questions that really showed their maturity and empathy for the world around them. Needless to say, us teachers, as well as Mr Streeting and his team, were really impressed with them!
