Arts Week - 2D Mark Making in the style of Johanna Basford

 

This year, the theme for Arts Week is identity.

In Year 1, we looked at how we can incorporate this into our art using 2D marks and created a pieces in the style of the artist Johanna Basford.

We thought about identity and the things that shape it throughout our lives.

Then we made a list of things, related to the above, 

that we wanted to incorporate into our art. 

We explored how Johanna does her art by watching a video and used that to inspire us.

We all, Ms Piper included, really enjoyed this activity.
