Remembering our Nurturing Nurses

 This half term Year 2 have been learning about Nurturing Nurses in History. We have learnt about Florence Nightingale, Mary Seacole and Edith Cavell. This topic has been really interesting and we have all enjoyed finding out about the nurses, their lives and how they changed nursing forever.

To finish our topic we thought about how the nurses should be remembered. We wrote speeches about which nurse we thought was the most important and how we thought we could remember them. Here are a few examples.
