We had a creative week. The children enjoyed an 'Under the Sea' drama workshop. They had fun pretending to be different sea creatures. They spent some time hiding from the 'sea monster' and were able to find the 'pearl of the ocean'.
We enjoyed a session of dance with Jam Dance Company.
We also learnt how to draw a portrait with 'photo realist' artist, Emma Richards.
The children used their DT skills to design a boat that would float. They were careful to use materials that would be best in water.
\Our Art theme this week was 'Japan' - the home of this year's Olympic Games.
The children used print and paint to create their cherry blossom trees.
What a fun way to end the term.
