Outdoor Maths Learning
In year 5, we have been studing Roman Numerals. Going outside, we were able to put our Roman Numeral knowledge to the test by finding a celebrities birthdate, that was written in Roman Numerals and then working out how to convert into modern day numerals. Children fed back that is was engaging, exciting and a refreshing activity in a new environment. Children agreed they enjoyed the outdoor learning.
